Teach what you love. Create community. Make something beautiful.

Do you have a creative skill, project, or class you'd love to share?

We'd love to hear from you.

The Creative Teaching Collective is an opportunity for artists, makers, educators, and creatives to bring their ideas into the Flower Mound Art & Music studio and create meaningful, hands-on experiences for our community.

Whether you have a one-night workshop, a weekend intensive, or a multi-week class in mind, we're looking for creative people who want to share what they know in a welcoming, inspiring studio environment.

What Can You Teach?

We're open to a variety of creative classes and workshops, including:

  • Drawing & painting

  • Watercolor & mixed media

  • Illustration

  • Printmaking

  • Fiber arts & textiles

  • Jewelry & handmade goods

  • Creative writing & journaling

  • Calligraphy & lettering

  • Photography

  • Crafting

  • Creative wellness

  • Youth & family art experiences

  • And other creative ideas you're excited to share!

Have an idea that doesn't fit neatly into a category? Submit it anyway. We're always interested in something new.

How It Works

1. Submit Your Class Proposal

Tell us about your class, workshop, or creative experience. We'll review your idea to make sure it's a good fit for our studio and community.

2. We'll Connect With You

If your proposal is a good fit, we'll work with you to determine the class format, schedule, pricing, materials, and studio needs.

3. Teach at the Studio

Once your class is approved and scheduled, you'll bring your class to Flower Mound Art & Music and do what you do best, teach, create, and connect with your students.

4. Bring Your Community

We encourage instructors to share their classes with their own audience and social media community. We'll also provide opportunities for your class to be featured through our studio channels when appropriate.

Choose Your Class Format

We're open to several types of creative experiences:

One-Time WorkshopsA single creative experience lasting 2–4 hours.

Multi-Week ClassesA class that meets weekly for a set number of sessions.

Creative SeriesA connected series of workshops built around a theme, skill, or project.

Special EventsCreative experiences designed for families, groups, celebrations, or special occasions.

Other IdeasHave something different in mind? Tell us about it.

Studio Rental

Approved instructors rent the Flower Mound Art & Music studio for their scheduled class or workshop.

Studio Rental: $50/hour

2-hour minimum

The studio rental provides access to our creative classroom space for your approved class or workshop.

Instructors are responsible for:

  • Planning and teaching their class

  • Setting their own student pricing

  • Student registration and payment

  • Marketing their class

  • Providing or arranging required materials

  • Setup and cleanup

  • Following studio policies

We will add your class to the calendar of events, post on social media, and share on the Blog/Newsletter.

Need Us to Provide Materials?

We can provide materials for your class for an additional per-student materials fee.

The materials fee will be determined during the class approval process based on the supplies needed for your specific project.

This allows us to make sure your students have everything they need without requiring instructors to purchase and transport supplies themselves.

What We Look For

We're looking for instructors who:

  • Have a creative skill or experience they're excited to share

  • Can provide a welcoming and positive learning environment

  • Are comfortable teaching their proposed class

  • Can clearly communicate class expectations and materials

  • Respect our studio, students, and community

  • Are excited to help create a vibrant creative community

Teaching experience is helpful, but we're also interested in people who simply have something wonderful to share.

Ready to Teach With Us?

We'd love to hear your idea.

Submit a Class Proposal

Please be prepared to provide:

  • Your name and contact information

  • A short bio

  • Your teaching or creative experience

  • Your social media/website

  • Examples of your work

  • Class/workshop title

  • Class description

  • Intended age group
