At Flower Mound Art & Music our music classes are focused around technique, music reading, music theory and most of all, having fun.
Music lessons are one-on-one sessions. After purchasing a membership via the Enroll Now button, you will receive a call or text to set up scheduling.
Musical Offerings
PIANO
Get your child started on one of the best foundations of music! We will cover playing technique, sight reading, composition and ear training
DRUMS
Ear plugs anyone? Rhythm is everything! Your child will have fun learning fluency around a drum set, learning to keep a steady beat, drum fills, reading music, how to properly hit the drums and help with band pieces from school.
GUITAR
Learn to play your favorite songs! In guitar class we will learn chord structure, musical scales, strumming patterns and guitar soloing. (Hey in the art room did you know you can paint your own guitar?)
VOICE
Time to start belting! In these exciting voice classes we will cover proper breathing, expanding vocal range, pitch accuracy and vocal control.
UKULELE
originated in the 1800’s in Portugal, the Ukulele is a fun and unique instrument with a beautiful sound. We will cover chord progressions (pssst there’s only 4 strings so don’t “fret” ….haha), sight reading and strumming patterns
BASS
Blast the subwoofers! As the heart to many songs bass is a crucial instrument to any band. In bass class we will cover the notes on the fretboard, keeping time and of course slapping.
SONGWRITING
Creativity at it’s finest! Songwriting boosts memory and encourages self-reflection. Learning tips and tricks of lyric writing, finding melodies, song structure and chords that will fit your hook!
MUSIC PRODUCTION
What is a song or musician without a producer? Learn to create your own beats, mix and master to radio quality, and be found on Spotify! We will walk you through all aspects of recording, producing and publishing your song.
